Why A STD Dating Site Is Awesome To Meet Someone!

Today certain junior high-minded individuals in the blogosphere are snickering about STD-Love.com, a new online personals dating site tailored for people infected with STDs.

After all, STD rates are excelerating, and presumably, a lot of that has to do with the fact that our sexual partners are either completely in the dark about the fact that they are infected, or worse, lying when they say they're "clean," so to speak.

Conversely, the members of STD Love are responsible enough to keep up-to-date on their medical status, and courageous and honest enough to be totally up front about it, all traits that everyone is looking for in a intimate romantic partner.

So, if you're AIDS, Herpes, HPV or other STD infected yourself, you get to bypass that whole uncomfortable disclosure talk.

At STD-LOVE.com they have forums, chat, blogs, a live STD medical counselor onsite and you can sign up for free· Never feel lonely again!

Did You Know...By the age of 25, one in two young people will get a STD. Getting tested is easier than ever before. No doctor's office visit. You can use a legal licensed to prescribe pharmacy. You can control your health. How To Get STD Testing

I think the std-love.com is a great idea. A lot of people, including myself feel a sense of shame and embarrassment when telling a new partner that you have an std. And usually they don't stick around, like your dirty or something. It hurts and has caused self esteem issues within myself. Using suppressive therapy has helped but when you have an std with no cure it is nice to talk to other people like you. Great post.

This is good. More people need to know about this. I went to India where I had some one night stands with prostitutes. That is how I caught HIV and gential warts. But was not able to reveal it to anyone because of the shame.

It's not just about finding a "new loved". There's also resources available that keep up to date with STDs. There are help groups and more that I can see how so many benefit from these communities.
